How lucky is this momma to have such darling kiddos?  We had an amazing time laughing and playing in the leaves.  I am so lucky to have such fun clients that always become good friends!  















So glad mom brought a friend, who was amazing at pulling faces and dancing behind me!

{ Racing the storm }

I watched the weather go back and forth all day on the day of this family's session, one minute thinking I would have to reschedule, the next minute thinking we'd be okay.  We went for it, and in the small break between downpours we were able to get some adorable pics.  See for yourself! :)

{ Momma and her boys... }

Look at all these handsome cowboys!  And momma... is she stunning or what?   :)    This family is seriously one of the sweetest families I've met!  So cute!  The boys were so well behaved, yes, even dad, and we made it through the entire session without a drop of rain!

Oh my goodness.  So fun.  I have been fortunate enough to photograph this family a couple of times, and we always spend our time together laughing and playing around.   Having such a laid back, up-for-anything, happy happy family makes my job C.A.K.E.   :)

Loved playing in the weeds with this family.  This day was a rough one, I was tired, not feeling well, and (by my family's own account) Onery.    BUT..... it just took spending 5 min with this happy, upbeat, kind family to change the whole rest of the evening, and set the tone for the rest of the week!!  Thank you, Chattertons, for literally making my whole day!     

{ Miles Family }

I love my job.   No, really.  I love meeting new, amazing people, just like the Miles family.  This little family was so much fun.  I have said a time or two, that sometimes I wish there was a camera in the back of my head, so I could see just what kind of faces mom and dad are pulling behind me in order to get the kiddos to smile.   This was definately one of those times. :)

{ Distractions }

Distractions.  

That's what we needed for these boys.   Smiling, playing, but the second the saw my big black camera in their face the tears came, and the boys ran away.  HA! :)   Definately had to pull out all the tricks for this session, including "here, throw these rocks at me" in order to get some smiles.  I think it was a success though.  What do you think? ;)
