Happy happy birthday to these lil' ones! I can't believe they are a year old already!

{ A Face from my past.... }

Love this lady. L.O.V.E. We went to high school together, and she lived up the street from me, which equalled double trouble for our parents! So many memories! :) It was so fun to see her kiddos, and how much they looked and ACTED like their momma! HA! :)

{ Cold, Windy, Beautiful }

There are two things that I hate about sessions this time of year. Cold, and WIND. And, honestly, I think the WIND is the worst. We had a good helping of both with this session, but those lil' troopers braved it like champs! I quit counting how many times we took their coats on and off, and how many "hair re-do" breaks we had, but I think we managed to get some beautiful images to hang on momma's wall.

These kids were so fun, and they each were so unique from their siblings. It was so much fun getting to know them, just a little bit, even IF the wind had control of our hair, the ENTIRE time.

Would you believe these two are twins? Yup! 7 years old! (You guessed it, no color for this last image, but I like it that way. A lot.)

Thanks for braving the cold and the wind! Maybe next time mother nature won't throw a hurricane on picture day!

{ Too cold for smiles }

The hardest thing about this time of year is trying to get a smile out of the little ones. It's too dang cold. I put my bulky, ugly, heavy coat on, some gloves on my fingers, and I forget that my cute clients aren't quite as warm and toasty. :)

We ran into only a minute of this problem today, but managed to warm up a bit by throwing rocks in the river. It kind of took our mind off of the chill in the air. For a minute. HA! But look at this lil' lady. How cute is she?

And, in case you wondered, her boots were my favorite part of her outfit! :) GO FIGURE.

{ Miss Tara }

It was so fun to meet up with Tara and her family yesterday! I haven't seen these kiddos for so long and they have grown so much. The weather was beautiful, and they were all so easy going! We were finished way too quickly, and I felt like I didn't get to visit enough. :(

However, we did have plenty of time to get some "hang-able" images for mom's wall!
